The staff on reception was very friendly and helpful, he resolved a booking issue and got everything sorted without any drama whatsoever. The hotel was located on the main road, so easy access to the rest of Timaru and out to the highway when leaving. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to discuss where your room is located as one side is exposed to the road traffic, Lots of parking, so easy for them to accommodate large vehicles if necessary. Menu in the restaurant looked great but unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try a meal there.

THIS COMMENT IS FOR THE NEXT QUESTION: Our room was located on an end which had our balcony looking onto a grotty filthy area and the same grot was down below our balcony. We paid extra for a balcony but certainly NEVER used it. We took photos and considered complaining to management but we had unpacked our bags and didn't want to have to move to another room if one was offered. That Room 51 should not be rented as having a balcony. No one in their right mind would choose to sit next to and look at that grotty area. It was a cheeky ripoff.

Love love love this place ❤️ oh the smell of our room Was delicious 🤤 our room was beautiful! Comfy bed this place is great! Easy to walk to and from town! We also used the taxi service the staff recommended and oh my gosh they were the most lovely taxi drivers I’ve ever met ❤️

Staff were so friendly when we arrived it was early and we were allowed to check in our room had just been cleaned. The staff always said good morning and greeted you with a smile I would highly recommend and we will be back close to the bay .thank you

Location was 👍 Room.was value for money. Great shower. A little out dated but the bed was comfortable. I would probably take out the single bed and replace it with a table and chairs or even a leaner and stools...great view too

Staff were wonderful, I messed up the booking arrived a day early, but they sorted it we stayed an extra day ,great restaurant prices were good one of the best meals so yummy.The lass on the front was excellent bonus needed there.

Comfortable bed. Underfloor heating. Extra towels were no problem when asked for. Note to all motels/hotels - if women are washing their hair, 1 towel is not enough!

A great location being an easy walk to the town centre and the bay. The rooms are very comfortable. Showers are hot and great pressure.
